Nice stay, but needs some love

We enjoyed a comfy stay in the Queen room. The breakfast was great, loved that fresh feel! Deanna, our breakfast host, was super sweet to my kid. Only bummer was the outdated shower, seriously needs a scrub. Overall, pretty decent but they gotta fix those bathrooms.

Loved how comfy the bed was, honestly one of the best hotel beds I've slept in! The accessible room was spacious, with a great shower and all the amenities like a microwave, fridge, and flat-screen TV. Breakfast had plenty of options, and the staff made sure everything was stocked and clean. The outdoor pool was relaxing too!

The Holiday Inn Express in Waverly had a cozy atmosphere. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and made check-in smooth. The breakfast spread was varied with plenty of choices. I loved the spacious room with a mini-fridge and microwave. The comfy beds helped me rest well at night. I had trouble adjusting the room temperature. it felt a bit stuffy at times. The pool area looked inviting, but the water was surprisingly chilly, making it hard to enjoy a swim. Cleaning staff was prompt and thorough, keeping everything spotless. I appreciated the easy access to nearby shops, adding convenience to my stay. Overall, enjoyed my time, with just a few minor hitches to note.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast, which was a feast! We hit up Cypresswood Golf and Lake Henry Golf Club too. The rooms were super clean and modern. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

But we did have an issue with housekeeping.

More seating in lobby areas would be helpful.

There were some hiccups in using the handicap lift for the pool, as no one seemed to know how to operate it initially. Additionally, finding a true accessible bathroom setup can be tricky. a tub might not work for everyone who needs a roll-in shower, leaving some guests feeling limited and frustrated.

This hotel was just an excellent fit for taking strolls in Waverly with good price-quality ratio. The breakfast had a pancake maker and kids loved it. Check on the pool temperature before diving in, it’s really cold!

the elevator made some strange noises. but the room was spacious and clean. breakfast had a great selection, including fresh pancakes! staff was super friendly and helpful. will definitely stay again! !
